Johannesburg-based sensing technology supplier Countapulse Controls has developed from being a supplier of “technologically superior” sensing and monitoring devices to a solutions provider that offers advanced technology packages incorporating high-level support.

These services include assisting clients with the installation of total systems, as well as with the selection of solutions that are appropriate and cost effective. Company MD Gerry Bryant explains that Countapulse Controls’ more than 40 years’ experience and expertise is an added advantage, which enables the company to help clients with the selection and replacement of equipment.
“When one considers a customer’s application, it is best to look beyond a single problem area. A more structured approach is needed to obtain a general overview of the customer’s specific requirements. By considering the overall operation of the plant, one will be able to find a solution that will encompass any unforeseen needs within the process,” he adds.

About Countapulse Controls
Countapulse Controls represents some of the most advanced counting, sensing and motion-detection technology available internationally. The company’s comprehensive range of high-tech sensing solutions includes counters and encoders, photoelectronic sensors, opto-electronic switching devices, flow and level sensors, and speed measuring and monitoring equipment, as well as safety light curtains. All products conform to the highest-quality international standards.

Further, the company is focused on providing technologically sound sensing solutions through the international brands it represents. It also boasts a strong customer service ethic, as well as engineering and technical support.

Countapulse Controls has representatives in Namibia and Zimbabwe, and in cities across South Africa, including Cape Town, in the Western Cape; Durban, in KwaZulu-Natal; and East London and Port Elizabeth, in the Eastern Cape.

The company’s Johannesburg premises comprise sales, service and storage facilities with a well-equipped electromechanical workshop capable of providing customised sensing solutions for a range of applications.

Further, Countapulse Controls has taken responsibility for the transfer of technology and skills between the company and its clients in Southern Africa. It also offers a full technical advisory service that focuses on the effective application of sensor technology.
