The South African Plastic Pipe Manufactures Association (SAPPMA) is excited to welcome Enrike Albasini as their new Administrative Officer. She will be taking over the position from Louise Muller who filled this position for the last 12years.

Born and raised in Pretoria, the 28-year old Enrike earned a Diploma in Events Management and holds a BCom Degree in Marketing Management from the University of South Africa (UNISA). Prior to joining SAPPMA on the 1st of February 2022, she was self-employed and worked in the hospitality industry as a Banqueting Coordinator.

“I'm very happy about my appointment, excited about learning new skills and getting to know the plastics pipe industry. Although I am a bit nervous about filling Louise’s shoes, I will do my best to apply all my knowledge and everything I have learned and gained from my studies to serve and support this dynamic industry,” Enrike says.

She describes herself as an avid reader, a social media guru and someone who enjoys living life to the fullest.

As SAPPMA’s Administrative Officer, Enrike’s focus and responsibilities will be on building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential members. She will also be responsible for the day-to-day admin tasks, communication, coordination and consolidation in order to provide a better service to their members.

“This is a big year for SAPPMA as we will be hosting our international PIPES XIII Conference in September this year after an absence of two years due to COVID-19. We are excited about the possibility of resuming many of our normal functions and activities and we have already hit the ground running!” Enrike concludes.
