The Southern African Development Community (SADC) Business Council is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Africa’s Conscious Brands & Circular Economy Summit, a leading advocate for sustainable practices, to further the promotion of the Circular Economy in Southern Africa. This groundbreaking collaboration is a testament to the SADC Business Council's commitment to driving Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and fostering a circular economy within the SADC region.

The SADC Business Council (SADC BC) has been at the forefront of advocating for sustainable business practices and the adoption of Circular Economy principles throughout the region. By joining forces with Africa's Conscious Brands & Circular Economy Summit, renowned for its expertise in sustainability and circular economy initiatives, the partnership aims to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable and resource-efficient economy across Southern Africa.

Circular Economy principles emphasise the reduction of waste, the reuse and recycling of materials, and the promotion of sustainable production and consumption. This partnership will play a pivotal role in creating a thriving circular economy ecosystem within the SADC region, fostering economic growth while minimising environmental impact.

The Southern African Conscious Brands & Circular Economy Summit is scheduled to take place on the 14th and 15th of November 2023 at the CSIR Conference Centre in Tshwane, South Africa. This summit promises to be a platform where industry leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and sustainability champions come together to explore innovative solutions, share best practices, and collaborate on strategies to promote the Circular Economy in Southern Africa.

The summit will feature insightful keynote presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities that will empower participants to drive meaningful change within their organisations and across the region.

The SADC BC extends an official invitation to all its members, strategic partners, and stakeholders to join us at the Southern African Conscious Brands & Circular Economy Summit. By becoming a delegate, you will have the opportunity to engage with thought leaders, learn about cutting-edge sustainable practices, and contribute to the transformation of the SADC region into a hub of circular economy excellence.

Together, we can create a more sustainable, resilient, and prosperous future for Southern Africa. Join us at the Southern African Conscious Brands & Circular Economy Summit and become an integral part of this transformative journey.
