Planned Start/End Date
Unit 1 is scheduled for completion in 2024 and Unit 2 in 2025.

Latest Developments
Installation of the transport lock has been completed in the Unit 1 reactor building at the NPP construction site.

The transport lock is the biggest piece of equipment at the NPP site, at 12.7 m long, 10 m wide and weighing 235 kg. Through the transport lock, nuclear fuel is loaded and unloaded into the plant, and equipment of Class 1 and 2 is delivered during the various stages of NPP construction.

Further work on the assembly and adjustment of the transport lock will be conducted after the jacketing of the power Unit 1 dome.

On March 9, Rosatom reported that the outside containment concreting was completed 45 days ahead of schedule. The total process took 110 days instead of 155.
