Voice communications solutions com- pany Siemens Enterprise Communications has been fully acquired by electronic and electrical equipment group Reunert, forming Nashua Communications.
Nashua Communications CEO Raymond Padayachee explains that the transaction was approved in October last year and most of the management and staff have been retained to offer end-to-end services and communications solutions.
The newly named company still offers the same broad range of products and services offered by Siemens Enterprise Communications.
“We will continue to solidify relationships with our existing customers and offer the same level of service, products and solutions that they have come to expect from us. Under the Nashua brand, we will be able to enter new markets,” he says.
Other benefits of the transaction include strengthening its position in the market, easily addressing local needs and allowing local customers to deal with local suppliers. The company will be able to react quickly to the market, with all decisions now based locally, with no loss to its international ‘flavour’.
Padayachee adds that, owing to its inter- national partner agreement, Nashua Communications will be able to keep up with all international trends, with access to Siemen’s research and development.
