Southern African bearings and power transmission products distributor Bearings International will showcase its extensive agricultural product line-up at Nampo Harvest Day.

The company’s display will include bearings, tension devices, seals, motors, transmission products, as well as agricultural spares.

Bearings International aftermarket director Danie Louw explains that high productivity and low input costs are the mainstay for sustainable profitability on any farm. “This means that a farmer cannot afford downtime due to equipment failure, especially during the critical planting and harvesting periods,” he says, adding that farmers, therefore, require their equipment to have uncompromising quality and reliability, efficient performance, an extended life span, minimum maintenance and low operating costs.

“Quality, which goes hand-in-hand with reliable high performance and long life, is standard in Bearings International products,” says Louw, adding that while price is an important consideration, it is not the only basis for making a sound business decision.

“That is why we add value to our products across the entire supply chain; we support our quality products with service excellence, which includes on-time product delivery and expert advice from our specialist bearings and transmission engineers. Maintenance and repair, and on time parts and stock availability form part of our aftersales service offering to ensure that farming equipment remains well maintained and fully operational.”

Bearing International’s agricultural products will be exhibited at stand number 45 and 46 in the Nampo Hall.

The company’s stand will display bearings for combine harvesters, planters, balers, tractors, spreaders, mixers and hammer mills, which will be exhibited by bearings suppliers FAG, Dodge and KML.

The high performance Bauer range of International Electrotechnical Commission standard totally-enclosed, fan-cooled motors suited for pickup lifters, conveyor belts, water pumps and milking equipment, will also be on show.

Visitors will also be able to see transmission products including gears, chains and accessories for combine harvesters, planters, balers, spreaders and mixers.

Other products on display at the Bearings International stand will include standard v-pulleys with tapered key housings, a wide choice of different axle couplings, oil and hydraulic seals, Rosta tension devices for any chain or v-belt application, pipes for planters, sprayers, milking and fire prevention equipment.

Technical expertise and advice will also be shared with anyone visiting the stand.

In addition, agricultural spares including accessories and parts will be showcased. These include parts for combine harvesters, balers, slashers and wheat tables; gearboxes for hubs and brush cutters, peanut production equipment and other agricultural implements; Rocol greases and lubricants; a Loctite range of adhesive products and Citronol hand cleaners.
