Reinforcing Africa’s future: Manufacturing, distributing and installing reinforced steel

12th July 2013

Font size: - +

Macsteel Reinforcing primarily supplies reinforcing steel and provides allied value added services to the construction sector. A strong management team with vast experience and technical knowledge enhances all aspects of the business including the on-site management and installation of its products.

Macsteel Reinforcing currently operates from two sites situated in Benoni and Brakpan. A new large consolidated site, adjacent to the new Macsteel Tube and Pipe facility in Boksburg, will ideally position this Business Unit for the
anticipated upswing in demand.

The market for reinforcing steel is directly linked to investment in infrastructure and the development of
malls, offices, factories, roads, schools, hospitals and rural upliftment in Southern Africa. This Macsteel business unit is, therefore, ideally placed to take advantage of future infrastructure spend.

Macsteel Reinforcing continues to grow from strength to strength underpinned by the Macsteel brand, its vast product range and strategic branch network.
