JSE-listed civil engineering and construction-related services group Protech Khuthele has appointed Victor Dingle FD effective May 1, replacing CEO Antony Page, who assumed the role of acting executive FD, assisted by CFO Robert Madubanya, in March.

Dingle was previously employed as CFO at the Teichmann Group, Lafarge South East Africa and Lafarge Cement Zambia, and was previously a financial manager for South African Breweries.

Protech had also appointed Doctor of Education at Harvard University and Human Resources Management: Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences Professor Shirley Zinn independent nonexecutive director and a member of the remuneration and nominations committee, effective May 5.

Zinn, the former global head of human resources and human resources director at Standard Bank and enterprise-wide human resources manager at Nedbank, is a member of Institute for People Management of South Africa, registered with the South African Board of Personnel Practitioners as a master practitioner and is a member of the Institute of Directors, Black Management Forum and Business Women’s Association.
