Powerscreen To Launch New Machines At South African Open Day

Company Announcement - Powerscreen, one of the world’s leading providers of mobile crushing and screening equipment will host an exclusive Open Day in Johannesburg, South Africa, in conjunction with local distributor ELB Equipment. The Open Day will take place on Thursday 22nd October at the ELB premises, close to Johannesburg Airport.

The event will showcase a range of Powerscreen machines including the official African launch of the Powerscreen® Warrior™ 600 screen, and Powerscreen® Trakpactor™ 260 impact crusher. Customers will have the opportunity to watch live demonstrations and be provided with an overview of each machine.  Commenting on the forthcoming line up at the South African Open Day, Stephen McCartney, Powerscreen International Sales Director said, “We are very happy to host this Open Day in conjunction with ELB Equipment. Powerscreen® Warrior 600
The Warrior 600 is the most recent addition to the Warrior™ mobile screening product family. It is the most compact heavy duty mobile screen which is so compact, it can be transported in a shipping container. The Warrior 600 screen is highly versatile with its ground-breaking simple conversion from 3-Way Split mode to 2-Way Split mode which can be completed in minutes. It also features a highly aggressive 8’ x 4’ screenbox capable of 6g of acceleration. The Warrior 600 has been specifically designed for operators for whom versatility, manoeuverability and transportation are of key importance.

Powerscreen Trakpactor 260
The Powerscreen Trakpactor 260 horizontal shaft impactor, is a highly compact tracked crusher designed to offer both excellent reduction and high consistency of product yield - up to 250tph (275 US tph.) The machine is designed mainly for the recycling and demolition markets and is an ideal contractor machine due to its compact design and mobility. The proven Terex® impact crusher chamber has a feed opening of 860mm x 610mm (34” x 24”) and can be configured with a variety of blow bars to suit a wide variety of applications and feed materials.
