Alternative power solutions supplier Sub-Sahara Power Distributors (SSPD) officially launched its new showroom last month, which will be dedicated to showcasing the range of products on offer.

“The showroom will afford our distributors – old and new – a unique and dynamic experience, where they will be able to view and interact with the products from the SDMO, Meccalte and FIAMM brands,” said SSPD MD Kevin Donaldson during the launch.

He further mentioned that the SDMO generator sets, Meccatle alternator sets and FIAMM generator brands are global leaders in their respective markets and, with these international partners, SSPD is able to meet its clients’ expertise based on international standards.

Moreover, with its clients being valuable to its business, SSPD focuses on providing the skills and experience needed to meet the needs of its clients. This is evident in the company’s training department offering training aids and teaching materials to help technicians better understand its products and provide better customer service.

Noting a noticeable and steady customer base across sectors, Donaldson mentioned that, with more shopping malls being constructed, the demand for generators has increased.

Moreover, the company still experiences good business from major banks, government hospitals, telecommunications service providers and several mines in the sub-Saharan Africa region.
