Delegates to POWER-GEN & DistribuTECH Africa 2017 to earn SAIEE CPD points
POWER-GEN & DistribuTECH Africa 2017, Africa’s leading power sector conference and exhibition, has been awarded a pre-validation by the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE) of 2.5 CPD credits.
Engaging in Continuing Professional Development allows individuals to continually ‘up skill’ or ‘re-skill’ themselves, regardless of occupation, age or educational level.
In line with POWER-GEN & DistribuTECH Africa’s focus on in-depth educational content designed to address real-world African power sector challenges, the event now allows conference delegates to receive CPD points to power up their skills sets and boost their careers. SAIEE members also qualify for a discount of up to 40% off conference delegate tickets.
Featuring presentations by over 100 local and international industry experts, POWER-GEN & DistribuTECH Africa addresses a broad range of issues including renewable energies and technologies; nuclear technologies; power plant technologies; utility management; finance and investment; the digital revolution in the power sector; health, safety and environmental management in the power sector and decentralised energy solutions, with research, cases studies and panel discussions across generation and distribution.
POWER-GEN & DistribuTECH Africa 2017 will be staged from 18 – 20 July at the Sandton Convention Centre. The event is attended by over 3,000 power industry stakeholders, utilities and sub-Saharan government officials from pan-Africa and abroad. For more information, go to www.powergenafrica.com
