Neste Oil and AGA, a subsidiary of the Linde Group. AGA will be responsible for the construction of the new refinery and Neste Oil will build the links needed to connect the unit to the refinery.

Project Description
Neste Oil has two hydrogen production units at its Porvoo refinery and the plan is to replace output from the older of these production units with a new, more efficient hydrogen production unit to be built by AGA. The hydrogen will be produced from natural gas in a steam reforming process.

The new plant will supply about 20% of the hydrogen needed by the Porvoo refinery.
