Project Description
The project involves the construction of a 67 MW turnkey power plant in Port Louis.
The new plant will replace older and worn out diesel generating sets, which will increase efficiency by up to 25% and result in a similar reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, compared with the existing power plant. The power plant will be a heavy fuel oil-fired application.

Value
The contract is valued at DKr786-million.

Duration
The project is expected to be brought into operation by September 2017, 18 months from the effective date.

Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor (BWSC) has been awarded the contract to build a high-efficient.
