THE Orion Group is proud to announce that they have been officially certified as a Top Employer for the fifth consecutive year. The annual international research undertaken by the Top Employers Institute recognizes leading employers around the world. The research delves into employee conditions, the nurturing and development of talent (throughout all levels), and the continuous optimization of employment practices. After much deliberation, the Orion Group has been awarded the exclusive Top Employers South Africa 2017 certification.

Crucial to the Top Employers process is that participating companies must complete a stringent research process and meet the required high standard in order to achieve the certification. To further reinforce the validity of the process, all answers were independently audited, meaning this research has verified Orion Group’s outstanding employee conditions and earned them a coveted spot among a choice group of certified Top Employers.

Orion Group also celebrates their 25th year of existence. The company headed by Franz Gmeiner opened its doors for business in 1991 with only three staff. Now, 25 years on, Orion group is a multi-faceted company with a staff compliment of 1000 individuals.

Andre Van Der Merwe, the Group People Development Manager for Orion said that he was one of many proud Orion staffers who celebrated the certification as well as the 25th anniversary. “Orion is very proud of the fact that we have obtained certification status for 2017.
