SA Roofing  (0.04 MB)

As the only publication in South Africa dedicated exclusively to the residential, commercial and industrial roofing industry and as a print media partner of choice to several industry expos and conferences, SA Roofing again enjoyed high interest at the recent Cape Construction and Interbuild Africa expos, where it proudly announced its recent ABC certification.

Billy Perrin, Publisher at Trademax Publications, says, “We started out in 2008 during very difficult times for the industry and our economy. Even so, the magazine grew from strength to strength with phenomenal buy-in from advertisers, sponsors and readers alike. This ongoing support has enabled us to build a relevant, receptive and loyal readership database that ensures a targeted outreach and measurable returns for advertisers. We have all come a long way over the past six years, some of which have been more bountiful for the industry than others. The fact that our clients continue to make use of SA Roofing as the preferred industry platform to get their message to market is both telling and gratifying. And I am proud to say that we have, in turn, always been there for and with them – doing what we do best.”

This year saw SA Roofing further invest in its commitment to transparency and quality publishing, resulting in an official Audit Bureau of Circulations of South Africa certification awarded in July of this year. According to operations manager, Celéste Perrin, “Although applying for ABC certification was not imperative for us, because SA Roofing has proven itself as a niche publication that reaches a very specific audience, we regard this as a sensible step in serving a market that has become more cautious about its ad spend than, say, five years ago. And although this doesn’t change much for us from an operational perspective, our ABC certification is an important signifier, not only of our passion and dedication to high publishing standards, but of our commitment to our valued clients and their agents, who now have the added value of knowing that when they use SA Roofing as a vehicle for advertising, they are investing in a solid publication whose national reach is audited by a highly respected organisation such as the ABC.” With the backing of the national roofing industry, SA Roofing is also poised to take full advantage of what’s on offer in the online market. “The digital age is upon us,” adds Billy Perrin, “But print is still an integral part of what we do and is still very much alive in the publishing landscape of South Africa – and within the industry that we serve. That’s why we intend to complement what we already do so well by growing our digital offering. We have some exciting developments in the pipeline, which we will be announcing soon.”

Six years of quality publishing, a tireless commitment to the roofing market and competitive pricing options have made SA Roofing the tried and tested go-to brand for the national roofing trade. With the support of this fundamental segment of the construction industry, the ABC’s stamp of approval and a vision that welcomes the future, SA Roofing remains steadfast in connecting the local roofing trade to a highly targeted readership that has been painstakingly fine-tuned over the years. Undoubtedly, SA Roofing has it covered.
