Electronics company Logitech has intro-
duced its new wireless illuminated keyboard K800, which features ambient light and motion
sensors to supply the right amount of backlight when needed and to conserve battery life when not in use.

The K800 will be available on the South African market in December this year from all major electronic retailers.

An ambient light sensor automatically
adjusts the keyboard’s backlighting, based on the amount of light in the room.

Motion sensors detect the movement of hands as they approach the keyboard to turn the backlighting on or off when the user’s hands move away.
