Company Announcement - Available from ASSTech, the new Jumo MIDAS S21 Ex pressure transmitter is designed for safe pressure measurement in critical areas. The system is hermetically sealed and has ATEX approval.

Available measuring ranges are 0.25 to 100 bar relative pressure and 1 to 25 bar absolute pressure. Medium temperatures can be between -40 and +85 °C. The MIDAS S21 Ex is manufactured completely from stainless steel and is characterized by high chemical resistance. The high overload capability and long-term stability of the piezoresistive silicon sensor ensures optimal process reliability. Safe process operation is ensured, even in the event of damage, high burst pressures of up to 400 bar.

With ATEX approval, the device is particularly suitable for pressure measurement in solvent cleaning systems, painting plants, or cooling systems with ammonia. In addition, it is also ideal for use on pumps or compressors in mechanical and plant engineering as well as in the chemical industry.

This new Ex variant to the MIDAS range is available with various electrical and process connections.
