Mobility group Motus has announced that Shumani Tshifularo will take over as MD of Renault South Africa (SA) from March 1, with former MD Jaco Oosthuizen appointed as Motus Australia CEO, effective July 1.

Oosthuizen will replace John Johnson, who is retiring from the group on June 30.

Tshifularo is a qualified chartered accountant who has work experience spanning various industries and companies, including Ernst & Young; the Nedcor Group; Imperial Fleet Services; and Saficon Industrial Equipment (Toyota Forklift).

He has assumed numerous management and leadership roles; and was Toyota Forklift MD before joining Kia Motors as commercial director.

Tshifularo joined Renault SA in July last year as commercial director.

Oosthuizen has been in the employ of the Motus brand for the past 20 years, and served as Renault SA MD for the last five years.
