Company Announcement - Morpho, a global leader in identity and security solutions, today announced that its GSMA Mobile Connect-compliant solution is now available for deployment, as part of its wider Mobile ID portfolio. Morpho has supported the GSMA Mobile Connect initiative since its inception, which will solve the issue of remembering an ever increasing number of usernames and passwords by providing a single, trusted, secure and convenient mobile phone-based authentication solution that respects online privacy.

The Morpho Mobile Connect offer is designed to enable fast and simple deployment, allowing an incremental approach for operators to test and optimize customer experience before deployment. The solution has been defined with flexibility and speed in mind. Operators and service providers can choose an off the peg version of the product, or adapt it to meet their exact needs. Deployment of the solution is achieved with Morpho’s authentication application for its own or other SIM cards, in combination with a secure authentication server.

Working together in partnership with Methics, Morpho is combining the best of its mobile authentication and signature technologies with leading identity management solutions. “The Morpho agile Mobile Connect solution, and new partnership with Methics, further expands Morpho’s offer in the field of mobile identity, said Yves Portalier, Vice President and General Manager of the Telecom Business Unit at Morpho Business Solutions Division, “As a GSMA Mobile Connect technology platform partner we are proud to deliver a convenient and secure, open standard authentication solution for our customers and their end users. Our solution is intended to accelerate the deployment of Mobile Connect, and make life safer and easier for the online lives of everyone.”

“Mobile Connect brings together an ecosystem of trusted mobile operators and service providers to provide consumers with the ability to use their mobile phone for managing their access to online services, giving them greater control and a means of access that is more secure and convenient,” said Marie Austenaa, Head of Personal
