Client
First Solar acquired the project from K Road Power Holdings in September.

Project Description
The 250 MW alternating current PV Moapa solar project, to be built on about 810 ha of tribal land, is the first approved large-scale solar project to be built on tribal land in North America.

First Solar will design and build the project using its cadmium telluride thin film solar modules. The project will include a 500 kV transmission line and a 12 kV distribution line to the existing Moapa Travel Plaza.
