The project entails the construction of a new state-of-the-art membrane cellroom to produce chlorine and caustic soda.

The chlorine produced will mainly be supplied to Ineos Oxide to support its strategy to increase propylene oxide production at its Köln site, while the caustic soda will be sold on the European market, underpinning security of supply to Inovyn’s customers.
