At Propak Cape 2014 Marel will be showcasing innovative further processing and end of line technologies, including solutions for the production of boneless, bone-in, portioned, filled, sausage and potato processed products for your desired end results. Marel will also showcase its fully integrated systems that can be uniquely tailored to your specific reqirements.

The building blocks of all Marel’s fully integrated solutions are the extensive range of stand-alone and modular products, such as checkweighers, grading and batching equipment, labelling and end of line ranges, boneless portioning, high speed slicing, standard scales and x-ray bone detection and weight grading through x-ray, to name a few. Marel also offers traceability, stock, quality control, inventory control, stand-alone equipment and fully integrated end to end solutions. Innova is Marel’s production management and control software specifically designed for the wet food industry, which is focussed heavily on the connection and control of Marel hardware, where traceability and production control is of paramount importance. Rodney Macer-Wright, General Manager for Marel SA says “The Marel end of line systems comprise stand-alone hardware and software from Marel’s vast range of products, all of which complement each other in terms of design, performance, data integration and overall compatibility. Through Innova, this enables us to offer fully integrated systems that allow for extensive live data gathering, to report on and control operation critical KPI’s leading to better line performance and efficiencies. Innova is an intelligent production software suite designed to monitor and manage the complete production value chain, from the reception of raw materials to packing and dispatch of finished product to the customer.

Coupled with our Innova Alarm Monitoring module, the uptime and performance of all Marel equipment can be monitored and reported on. This integration is present in standard Marel Machinery such as automatic grading and batching machinery, weigh price labeling, portioning machinery and more.”
Visit Marel at Propak Cape, 21st – 23rd October 2014 at Hall 1 stand C4 at the Cape Town International Convention Center for more information on Marel’s Further Processing and end-of-line solutions.
