Project Description
The two hydroelectric projects, namely the Mandaya and the Beko Abo multiuse hydroelectric projects, are on the Abay river, in Ethiopia.

Earlier studies suggest that the Mandaya and Beko Abo projects can be expected to produce about 12 100 GWh/y and 12 600 GWh/y respectively.

The value of the project has not been disclosed; however, the feasibility study contract is valued at about NKr90-million.
