Project Description
The project includes the design, construction, maintenance and operation of the 4 608 m Çanakkale 1915 bridge, which will be the world’s longest-span suspension bridge once complete.

The bridge will have a headroom clearance of 70 m under the main span, which will provide safe navigation across the busy waterway for the world’s tallest ships, while the 318-m-tall steel towers will be built on concrete caissons in the Çanakkale Strait. Situated in a seismic zone, the bridge has been designed to withstand earthquakes and severe winds.
