Magnetic nut driver set on offer

1st August 2019

Font size: - +

A magnetic driver set made with rare-earth magnets, has been launched in South Africa.

The retracting magnet moves up to 47 mm to facilitate the fastening or extracting of bolts and nuts in hard to reach places and cavities. A handle is  included in the kit and converts the unit from a screwdriver to a T-handle, with a push and click of the thumb.

The frictionless ball handle end has been ergonomically designed using polypropylene and rubber. The design aims to increase grip and comfort, with a deep handle neck for additional thumb support. In addition, the anti-roll handle flats prevent the driver from rolling. The M-Tec hollow blades are made from chrome vanadium steel with a rare-earth magnet and a ¼ inch hex fitting.

The kit includes:

high torque (greater than 16 Nm) screwdriver bits

high hardness (greater than 63 HRc) precision-standard screwdriver bits

seven M-Tec ¼ inch shank shafts in 5.5 mm; 6 mm; 7 mm; 8 mm; 10 mm; 13 mm and 17 mm sizes

two magnetic bit holders in 58 mm and 155 mm sizes

ten 25 mm standard screwdriver bits - PH1 and 2; PZ1 and 2; 3.5 mm and 5 mm TX15; 20; 25 and 30.

A strong box for tool storage

The Felo Smart Kit 20-piece toolbox replaces 48 tools, the blades and shafts are made from bit-steels that exceed the German Institute of Standardisation and International Organisation for Standardisation requirements and are GS German Product Safety-tested for safety. Felo screwdrivers have a 15-year warranty.
