Project Description
The project proposes to expand the capacity of the Jebel Ali refinery by 50%.

The expansion comprises three packages.
The main package will add a new condensate processing train to the existing facility, expanding its daily capacity from 140 000 bbl/d to 210 000 bbl/d.

Additional processing will also be added.

These include a new liquefied petroleum gas/naptha hydroheater, an isomerisation unit, and kerosene and diesel hydroheaters.

These units will ensure that the refinery’s fuel products, which include gasoline, jet fuel and diesel, can meet expanding domestic fuel and export demand.

The subsequent two packages of the project will include the construction of storage tanks and a 2 880 m2 ware-house.

The expanded facility will manufacture products for the local market meeting stringent Euro 5 standards.
