JCB Industrial, part of Eqstra Industrial Equipment (EIE), is to launch a new product line at this year’s BaumaConexpo, which will give mines access to JCB’s world-leading range of telescopic handlers.  Bauma Conexpo Africa takes place from 15 – 18 September 2015 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre.

The product, a compact JCB Loadall, offers features tailored for mining operation, in addition to the advanced technical specifications that have made the JCB Loadall such a staple globally.

The unique boom system, available in boom lengths of less than 10 m suitable for mining, features a u-shaped boom design, enabling it to act as a loading shovel material handling machine, and which can also be configured with a man platform. The wide range of attachments available for JCB Loadalls is one of the reasons for their exceptional versatility.

The fact that all the weight of the Loadall is built into the chassis makes for an exceptionally stable machine, while manoeuvrability is enhanced by the narrow chassis, good steering lock and three steer modes. The new model also features the JCB Dieselmax engine, which provides high power and torque at low engine speed.  With the engine as well as the other components manufactured by JCB, tight quality assurance is ensured over the complete machine.

The pioneer of the telescopic handler concept in 1977, JCB is not only the leading supplier of Loadalls in the world, but its range is also the widest. It’s tried and trusted performers range from compact models for accessing restricted sites, up to a maximum of 6 t capacity and 8m lift height.

As a licensed distributor, JCB Industrial markets a wide range of JCB products to the Southern African industry, including the JCB Teletruk, Skid-Steer, Rough Terrain Forklift and Loadalls.

In line with its commitment to forging partnerships for life with its customers, EIE offers flexible sale and rental options and fully supports its JCB users over the complete product lifecycle. This ranges from financing assistance, to maintenance contracts, operator and maintenance staff training and spares as well as aftermarket support.
