Jay-Bee Castings is a company based in Gauteng. Established in 1989, the company manufactures castings to customer specifications in a diverse range of metals – from as little as 1 kg to 4 000 kg – for the valves, mining, rail, power, pumps, crushing, earthmoving and allied industries. Jay-Bee’s casting abilities include carbon steels, grey and ductile irons, Ni hard, high-chrome irons, Ni resist, aluminium, stainless steel and copper-based alloys.

From spun bushing to fully machined components, the company has the versatility and expertise to satisfy every requirement.
Its premises are located at 294 Main Reef road, in Knights, Germiston, on Gauteng’s East Rand.

The company has a fully equipped pattern shop with computer numerically controlled patternmaking machines, an automated core shooter, electric furnaces, gouging and fettling equipment and shotblast facilities.

Jay-Bee Castings employs 90 people.

The company works closely with its customers, and recently supplied components to power station projects as well as the mining, rail and earthmoving sectors.
