Invicta’s Walters to join Assore as CEO

JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – JSE-listed mining holding company Assore has appointed Charles Walters CEO, effective July 1.

He will join the company as CEO designate on April 1.

Walters will succeed Chris Cory, who will retire on June 30 after 28 years with Assore.

Invicta announced on Monday that Walters would step down as its CEO on January 31, but remain available to the group in a consulting capacity until November 30.
