International Women’s Forum South Africa To Host Prestigious Conference In June 2014

South African women in leadership have heeded the call to be the change they want to see in the world. In celebration of 20 years of democracy in South Africa, The International Women’s Forum of South Africa will convene an IWFSA conference on 18-19 June 2014 at the Sandton Convention Centre.
This forms part of the Africa Women’s Decade (Continent wide) activities and will expose African women leaders to IWF prior to the IWF Global Cornerstone Conference in 2015 also hosted by IWFSA
The theme Africa Rising : Setting an Inclusive Agenda recognises Africa’s recent growth. The idea of the conference is to unpack the rise of Africa and direct conversation towards setting an inclusive agenda to expand and sustain gains towards addressing the Sub Saharan current issues. The African perspective will be showcased by some outstanding speakers. These include IWFSA Past Presidents Honourable Minister Naledi Pandor (Minister of Home Affairs) Ms Bridgitte Radebe and Dr. Namane Magau. Guest speakers Ms Gill Marcus, South African Reserve Bank Governor, Botswana’s Reserve Bank Governor Ms Linah Mohohlo, Ghana Investment Promotion CEO Mrs Mawuena Trebarh and Ms Geraldine Fraser-Moleketi (Africa Development Bank) will unpack Africa’s growth and stimulate the inclusive growth agenda-setting debate. Other speakers include: Ms Wendy Appelbaum, Ms Tryphosa Ramano (CFO PPC), and Ms Irene Charnley (Founder and CEO Smile Communication),
