Company Announcement - Emerging markets today are characterised by the integration and application of solutions to digitise companies. Integr8 has developed a suite of solutions to support companies with the right technology towards positioning themselves powerfully within the digital space. With cloud-based infrastructure to allow flexibility and scalability, Integr8 has developed a video conferencing solution, which doesn’t cause problems when connecting to overseas companies.

The product range includes a dedicated server, managed hosting, managed collocation and cloud computing options, and is designed to help businesses make the most of unified communications capabilities and toolsets – plus the triple play concept of video, voice and data. The video conferencing facility is vendor agnostic, allowing cross platform applications for iOS, Android, Windows PC, Apple MAC OSX, Linux, as well as connections from standards-based H.323 and SIP endpoints. The software solution also allows for easy and cost-effective deployment. “Video conferencing is gaining popularity in the enterprise space. It used to be that only large corporates could afford to take advantage of the multiple functions – not just from a virtual meeting point of view, but also to share documents, computer-displayed information, and whiteboards,” says Bennie Strydom, Chief Sales Officer at Integr8.

He adds that this facility brings forward a better work life balance and also saves employees lots of money on travel and time. “Employees can now easily stay connected with their colleagues while they work in remote areas; therefore reporting of issues and updates can be shared via the video conferencing solution.” According to Strydom businesses - irrespective of size - are now able to take advantage of the audio and visual transmission of meetings; and companies are extending the advantage of this technology to help handle critical aspects of corporate communications.

“Digitisation is now the driving force behind most industries today,” Strydom continues. “As a result most businesses are looking to implement end-to-end solutions that transform key areas of the corporate network – including virtual face-to-face environments that pick up on every nuance of the real-time conversation.”

Another reason for the increased uptake of these technologies and integrated communication systems is because of the ability to reach a network instantaneously.

“With branched networks and the advent of the cloud for remote management and control of infrastructure, it is no surprise that technology such as video conferencing is growing in appeal. Issues including control, security and cost are taken into consideration. Companies continually search for more cost-effective technologies that do more with less while still keeping ahead of trends,” Strydom concludes.
