Our hydraulic hose repair clamp is designed to reduce downtime from hours or even days to just minutes. The clamp is made from 316 cast stainless steel. The claps are reusable and should be used as a temporary measure while waiting on a new hose. It’s quick and simple to use. For small holes, simply fit the clamp over the hole or for more robust repair, cut the hose, insert the barb and fit the clamp. It’s a onetime investment that will save time and money for years to come.

  • One time investment
  • No hose disasembling needed
  • Quick fix to maintain production
  • Reduces downtime
  • Easy to use
  • Reusable

Our in-field hydraulic hose repair clamps have made hydraulic hose repair as simple as possible, with no removal of the hose from the machine. You can be up and running in as little as 10 minutes. The clamps can be used on most types of hydraulic hose eliminating the need to have different fittings for different types of hose.

The Hosepatch clamp and joiner is a temporary fix as either a low-pressure patch, to move machinery back to the workshop, or as a joiner to continue operation until a replacement hose can be acquired. The clamp and joiner is made from cast 316 stainless steel with grade 8 bolts.

The clamp should only be used as a patch for low pressure applications. <2000PSI [160 Bar]. The effectiveness when used as a patch can vary due to factors like hose condition and outside diameter. When used as a patch, it will never increase the extent of a leak; at the very least it will restrict it. We don’t recommend continuing working the machine when using as a patch and is best suited for a very quick repair to get the machine to a convenient location to be worked on.

The maximum pressure using as a joiner is 6000PSI [480 Bar], all hoses were tested to 1.5 times the working pressure of the hose which meets international standards for new hose assemblies. *The joiner and clamp was tested up to 15000PSI [1200 Bar] to see at which point the joiner and clamp would burst. We were amazed by the results, the JIC fittings were failing before the joiner and patch, which was a great success, through all our testing the joiner and patch never burst. We only exceeded the working pressure of the hose for testing purposes, never exceed the maximum pressure of 6000PSI [480 Bar].

Hose Patch clamps are designed as a temporary repair and are completely reusable. It is best to replace the damaged hose as soon as possible and return the clamp to the kit for next use.
