IML Xperts GmbH  (0.08 MB)

Company Annoucemet - Fakuma 2014 will represent the fair debut for IML Xperts GmbH. The full service provider and turnkey supplier for complete IML systems is presenting itself to a wider public for the first time, and is coming up with a world first: 3D Full Cover IML for manufacturing fully decorated containers, made with cost-effective standard equipment.

Central Europe is considered to be the Mecca of international in-mould labelling. Customers from around the world appreciate the distinctive level of expertise and the decades of experience. At the same time it is noticeable that there are scarcely any German turnkey suppliers to match the high demand for total solutions with tools and automation. Inmould labelling technology in "100% made in Germany" quality: This is what IML Xperts GmbH stands for as an efficient  supplier of complete systems. The company which grew out of the already lengthy collaboration between the two IML specialists, Roth Werkzeugbau GmbH in Auma-Weidatal and Waldorf Technik GmbH & Co. KG in Engen, supports its customers from the first minute of an IML project all the way to the efficient production process. For example, the development of an attractive product design is just as much part of the service for branded goods manufacturers as the sampling process, small volume production for test markets, help with the selection of suppliers for labels, material and equipment, the construction of production tools and automation as well as professional installation, commissioning and later maintenance. "For the manufacturer of the IML packaging, this is the all-inclusive, worry-free package", explains Managing Director, Marco Roth. "In the future we could even imagine placing qualified operating staff at the customer's disposal as a service - at least for the initial phase."

After successfully completing the start-up phase with two major German customers, and after developing its new "3D Full Cover IML" Technology, IML Xperts GmbH will now be presenting itself to a wider public for the first time at Fakuma 2014. The two strategic partners, Roth Werkzeugbau and Waldorf Technik, are fixtures in terms of technology partners. The next step in the development of the company is to expand the customer base abroad and to anchor the brand in the IML market as the leading turnkey supplier of IML technology in Germany.

With the new development of "3D Full Cover IML", the specialists from IML Xperts GmbH are considerably expanding the spectrum of carton geometries and the decoration options available using the IML process. A production line for 3D Full Cover IML will be presented at Fakuma together with Weidenhammer Packaging GmbH, a highly innovative supplier of containers. And what makes it special is the fact that these new types of containers can now be efficiently produced in an industrial environment with immediate effect, thanks to the skilful combination of standard IML automation (manufacturer: Waldorf Technik) and standard IML tool technology (Roth Werkzeugbau), complemented by expertise in the design of labels and in process parameters. "The manufacturing costs for 3D Full Cover IML are no higher than for conventional IML cartons, but the attractiveness for the consumer is significantly higher.

Higher sales, better profits, that is the direct result for the food manufacturer and the supplier of containers", says Holger Kast from automation manufacturer Waldorf Technik, as he explains the benefits of the new technology. With the equipment required reduced to standard components, the investment for 3D Full Cover IML is lower than hitherto available from individual niche suppliers. The entire origination process from product design, via test quantities all the way to the commissioning of production systems including professional project management, is offered by IML Xperts GmbH as a package.
