The fourth yearly Infrastructure Africa Business Forum (IABF), which will take place on September 1 and 2 in Sandton, Johannesburg, will seek to urge African infrastructure experts and decision-makers to promote intra-African trade relations and investment opportunities between public and private sectors on the continent.

The theme for this year’s conference is Access to business opportunities in Infrastructure.

“We have added exciting new dimensions to this year’s programme and are looking forward to building on the contingent of delegates from the African continent to deepenen regional connections and cooperation,” says event organiser Siyenza MD Liz Hart.

With the continent’s Programme for Infrastructure Development (PIDA) in the spotlight and South Africa’s own infrastructure build programme rolling out until 2030,

business and government representatives attending the IABF are expected to discuss ways of fast-tracking the significant growth potential of Africa's infrastructure sectors by providing a leadership and networking platform for those active in the continent’s infrastructure space.

Key aspects, such as the actual opportunities available in infrastructure projects in Africa and how business can access them, available financing mechanisms, guidance on project preparation and industry-sector access, will be covered at the event.
