Construction will be undertaken in an 88 km2 area in the North Sea, at least 34 km off the west coast of the Danish Jutland Peninsula.

Vattenfall.

Project Description
The project involves the construction of a 407 MW wind farm.

The wind farm will comprise 49 turbines, each with a capacity of 8.3 MW. 

The turbines will be 187 m high and have a rotor diameter of 164 m.

The foundations will consist of 40-m- to 50-m-long monopiles, which have a diameter of 6.5 m and weigh up to 610 t.

The wind farm will provide enough power to satisfy the yearly electricity consumption of 425 000 Danish households.

Construction on the wind farm started at the beginning of October, with the delivery of the first four monopoles, which have since been driven about 30 m into the seabed.
