Hollandse Kust Zuid (HKZ) 1-4 offshore wind farm.

The project is located between 18 km and 36 km off the coast of the Netherlands, in the North Sea.

Project Owner/s
Vattenfall.

Project Description
The HKZ 1-4 offshore wind farms are being developed by Vattenfall as the first subsidy-free wind farms in the Netherlands.

When completed, they will have an installed capacity of about 1.5 GW, which will meet the electricity needs of an estimated two- to three-million Dutch households.

The project includes the transport and installation of about 140 wind turbine monopile foundations and 315 km of 66 kV inner array grid cables in water depths 18 m to 27 m deep.
