Harris Products Group is recognised as a world leader in metalworking products used in the brazing, soldering, welding, cutting and gas distribution industries.

The company was formed in 2006, when its parent, Lincoln Electric, combined Harris Calorific and JW Harris Company, both of which had a rich history dating back more than 100 years.

Harris Products Group has been providing customers in South Africa’s mining, railroad, petrochemicals, fabrication and assembly industries with its premium products for more than 60 years. Today, the company’s enhanced distribution system means these world-leading metal working products are available to more customers through additional distributors across South Africa, including, Renttech, Air Liquide, Brandweld and Cosmo Welding.

The products are manufactured at Harris’ plant in Dzierzoniów, Poland, one of the most modern in the world. Harris chose this plant because of its skilled labour force and close proximity to its South African customers, who would now be assured that the products coming off the line were of a high quality. In fact, the facility, like all of Harris’ plants, is ISO 9001-certified for quality management systems, and as a demonstration of its commitment to stewardship of the global environment, it also boasts ISO 14001 certification for environmental management systems.
