Hard floor cleaner to take the hard work out of cleaning

16th July 2019

Font size: - +

A hard floor cleaner that combines both mopping and vacuuming in a single step, has been introduced to the local market.

The characteristic feature of the cleaner is the two rotating micro-fibre rollers, which are moistened continuously with a detergent solution. The rollers loosen the dirt and wipe it off the floor, while continuously vacuuming dirt and moisture. The cleaner has a tank capacity of 400 ml, with the potential to clean a surface area of up to 60 m² with a single tank. The vacuumed dirty water is drawn into a separate tank, which can be emptied after cleaning.

Kärcher states that its FC 5 hard floor cleaner can clean all hard floors, including stone and wooden floors, quickly and easily and that a cleaned floor will dry in less than two minutes. It also promises reduced environmental impact, by saving water compared to a conventional wiping mop.

Specific detergents for stone, varnished and waxed wooden floors, as well as a universal cleaner are available for use with the cleaning device.

The units are available in a yellow or white design at retail stores countrywide.
