Mauritius’s National Sewerage Master Plans aims to connect 80% of the population to a sewer network by 2033.

The project’s aim is to improve sewage treatment by connecting about 6 000 houses to the existing treatment plant in the Grand Baie area, contributing to environmental preservation and the improvement of sanitation in the project area.

The scope of work includes the construction of sewers, pumpstations and internal connections, in addition to upgrading the supervising control and data acquisition system.
