Project Description
Transco is the US’s largest and fastest-growing interstate natural gas transmission pipeline system.

It delivers natural gas to customers through its 16 415 km pipeline network, the mainline of which extends nearly 2 897 km between South Texas and New York City.

The Garden State project entails the development of additional compression to provide 180 000 decatherms of firm natural gas transportation service, and increased reliability for a local gas distribution company along the New Jersey coast, which was affected by hurricane Sandy.

The project will provide firm natural gas transportation from Transco’s Zone 6 Station 210 pooling point in Somerset County, New Jersey, to a new interconnection on Transco’s Trenton Woodbury Lateral, in Burlington County, New Jersey.

Duration
Williams Partners plans to bring the project into service in phases, with the first phase starting in 2016 and the second in 2017, assuming the timely receipt of the necessary regulatory approvals.
