Project Description
The Fadhili gas project will become a key component of Saudi Arabia’s master gas system, processing gas from onshore and offshore gasfields.
With Saudi Aramco’s Wasit and Midyan gas projects, Fadhili will add more than five-billion standard cubic feet a day of nonassociated gas processing capacity.
Fadhili will process a total of 2.5-billion standard cubic feet a day of nonassociated gas, including two-billion standard cubic feet a day of Hasbah offshore gas and 500-million standard cubic feet a day of Khursaniyah onshore gas. It is expected to produce 1.5-billion standard cubic feet a day of sales gas and 4 000 t/d of sulphur, and will supply 470-million standard cubic feet a day of gas to an adjacent combined heat and power (CHP) plant.

About 4 500 professional training, permanent and temporary jobs.

The project will cost about SR50-billion.
Duration
Completion is scheduled for the end of 2019.

Siemens has received an order for five F-class gas turbines and generators, the control system, and the assembly and commissioning on site of the CHP plant.
