Construction equipment distributor High Power Equipment (HPE) Africa – a division of capital equipment group Invicta Holdings – will exhibit again at BAUMA CONEXPO AFRICA 2015, building on the success it achieved at the 2013 expo.

The fair will be held at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, from September 15 to 18.

“This international trade fair is the ideal platform to showcase the company’s range of products,” says HPE Africa MD Alex Ackron, adding that the exposure BAUMA offers the company’s product line can influence some of the biggest names and decision-makers in the construction and mining industries.

HPE Africa will exhibit a variety of Hyundai excavators, wheel loaders and backhoe loaders – all known for efficient performance, low operating costs and minimal maintenance requirements.

The company will also showcase Korean hydraulic equipment manufacturer Soosan’s hydraulic equipment.

Soosan hydraulic hammers and drills are attachments that enhance the flexibility of earthmoving equipment and are designed to withstand harsh operating conditions at mines and quarries, as well as at plant hire and demolition projects.

The HPE Africa stand will be at Terrace 2, Stand 331.

After-Sales Support
HPE Africa also offers critical support services that include an original-equipment-manufacturer parts, repair and maintenance facility.

“The company has recognised a need from industry for greater assistance with on-site repairs and support,” says Ackron. For this reason, HPE Africa has increased its field services fleet and extended its support services throughout South Africa and into neighbouring countries.

HPE Africa currently has well-equipped workshops in Johannesburg, Gauteng; Durban, KwaZulu-Natal; Cape Town, the Western Cape; and East London, in the Eastern Cape – these areas are supported by dealers in Polokwane, Limpopo; and in Upington, Kimberley, and Douglas, in the Northern Cape.

Repairs and services include minor and major component replacement, as well as the rebuilding and refurbishment of units. The company has established specialist divisions for engine repairs, hydraulics and boiler making, encompassing a bucket rebuild facility.

HPE Africa also offers maintenance programmes, which are carried out in line with planned downtime schedules. Further, operator familiarisation courses facilitated by the company ensure enhanced performance and the extended life of machinery.
