JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – JSE-listed Eqstra expects to report a headline loss a share of 2.5c to 4.5c and a loss a share of 284c to 290c for the six months to December 31.

The loss was mainly attributable to a R1.17-billion impairment on mining equipment held for sale.

The company, which would release its interim results on March 1, noted that  the industrial equipment and fleet management and logistics divisions continued to deliver solid operational performance during the period, while contract mining and plant rental delivered an improved operating performance.
