Energy solutions company ThermoWise is offering its clients personal service, backed by local support, with the opening of its Gauteng branch, where it hopes to achieve a market share of 75% in the longer term.

ThermoWise sales and marketing director Bronwynn Fine tells Engineering News that the company currently holds a 75% market share in the commercial and industrial heat pump sector in KwaZulu-Natal and hopes to accomplish the same in Gauteng through the establishment of the new branch.

“To achieve this goal, we will adopt the same marketing strategy as was implemented in KwaZulu-Natal, that is the offering of a professional service, backed by quality products and technically sound installations. Our clients are assured of our commitment to the market by the further investment made in a fully administrative and technically supported infrastructure,” she says.

The new branch, which is strategically positioned in Bedfordview, services Gauteng and neighbouring regions and supports an extensive range of energy efficient systems, with a specialist project and energy-saving solutions service, she adds.

A significant milestone for the new branch was its expansion to include administration staff, a sales team and technical staff and the creation of branch infrastructure within the first three months of establishment, as opposed to the originally planned six months.

Further, ThermoWise has approved an agent for the Eastern Cape and Cape Town who will be appointed as of next month.

Further expansion is also planned but cannot currently be disclosed, owing to confidentiality agreements, but Fine reveals that ThermoWise will be “taking the hot water industry into new dimensions and exclusive markets by offering products that are unique and available globally but not yet available in South Africa”.
