Downer wins A$250m in mining contracts
PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Project house Downer EDI has been awarded five contracts worth a combined A$250-million in the resources sector.
The company’s blasting services division has been awarded three contracts for the supply, manufacture and delivery of explosives and down hole blasting services, including at the Boddington gold mine, the Karara iron-ore mine, and the Savage River magnetite mine.
Downer has also been awarded an underground mining contract at Newmarket Gold’s Forestville Gold, which includes providing ground support services and related mining services.
