De Ruyter moves from Sasol to Nampak
Sasol senior group executive for global chemicals and North American operations André de Ruyter has resigned to take up the top job at JSE-listed Nampak.
De Ruyter has been appointed Nampak executive director and CEO designate from January 2014, fully taking over on April 1, following the exit of current Nampak CEO Andrew Marshall, who will step down on March 31.
“On behalf of the Sasol board and the group executive committee, I would like to wish André every success as he commences an exciting chapter in his career at one of our longstanding customers – I am certainly looking forward to working with him in his new role,” Sasol CEO David Constable said in a statement.
Sasol Olefins and Surfactants MD Fleetwood Grobler was selected to succeed De Ruyter from December 1.
