Industrial products specialist Advanced Industrial Technology (Ai-Tec) manufactures a range of stainless steel tables and door frames that meet the stringent quality and hygiene standards of the Department of Health.

Ai-Tec director Arnold Retief says Macrotec doorframes are custom-manufactured using high-grade stainless steel and are available in a milled, polished or brushed finish.

“The company’s stainless steel tables, which are designed for hygienic environments, like food manufacturing plants and the healthcare sector, are also manufactured from high-grade materials for extra strength and durability.

“These tables have a sound-deadening compound that is spread evenly between the sur-faces to reduce noise levels,” he says.

Macrotec doors are supplied as double or single rebate for one-brick or half-brick walls. They are manufactured from 1.6-mm-thick, grade 304-type stainless steel and are laser-cut and bent to form the required profile.

These doorframes have mitred corners that are fully welded to a finish, with tie bars at the base welded for rigidity. Each frame is supplied with lugs to secure the frame into the wall and comes with three stainless steel hinges securely fixed with stainless steel screws.

Macrotec tables are con- structed from 0.9-mm-thick 430- or 304-type stainless steel with a backing sheet of 1.6-mm-thick galvanised plate. These tables are available in a range of sizes.
