Crushing and screening equipment supplier Pilot Crushtec highlights the robust warranty it offers on its equipment, saying that it is a testament to a product’s durability and reliability and helps give customers confidence to use a product to its full potential.

The Metso Lokotrack LT120 crusher is one of the units covered by an extended Equipment Protection Services (EPS) warranty. The mobile jaw crusher is specially designed for aggregate production and is widely used in mining and quarrying applications. The LT120 is said to provide high capacity crushing in an easily transportable form.

Pilot Crushtec sales and marketing director Francois Marais says that its EPS warranty covers a span of five years or 10 000 hours of operation, whichever comes first, and asserts that this level of support is unparalleled in the industry.

“In a sector where downtime can result in substantial financial losses, this warranty's importance cannot be overstated,” he continues.

The company says that its extended warranty reflects its belief in the LT120's design, the robustness of the Nordberg C120 crushing unit and the efficiency of the engine powering the crusher.

“With this comprehensive warranty, customers can purchase and operate the Lokotrack LT120 with peace of mind. It assures that should anything go wrong within the warranty period, Pilot Crushtec will be there to assist, reducing downtime and ensuring the continuation of operations,” concludes Marais.
