Corobrik has secured the Diamond Arrow Award for the fourth consecutive year after survey respondents in the construction industry rated the brick supplier ahead of the pack.

Last week, PMR.africa presented the award to Corobrik after the supplier achieved the highest rating of 4.17 out of a possible 5.

The survey, which was undertaken from October 2013 to January 2014, rated brick suppliers in 11 categories ranging from the ability to meet orders, flexibility and competitive pricing, to the quality and variety of products on offer.

A random national sample of 120 representatives from construction companies and building materials retailers were also asked whether promised delivery times were met, how the companies responded to queries and their perception of the firms’ brand and integrity, as well as their black economic-empowerment and corporate social investment practices.

Corobrik, which has over 2 000 employees, boasted the largest distribution network in South Africa and distributed more than five-million bricks to different sites across the country every year.
