After China and Turkey, transport logistic is now also expanding into India. As part of a cooperation agreement Messe München International will for the first time be involved in CTL – Cargo Transport Logistics 2016, the 9th International Expo & Conference. "CTL in co-operation with transport logistic" takes place on February 18 and 19, 2016 in Mumbai.
In both the medium and long term India is among the fastest growing economies in the world. However, the logistics market in India is only at the beginning of its development. With a population of over 1.3 billion, the demands on transport and logistics are enormous. Stable logistics chains are urgently needed.
Eugen Egetenmeir, Managing Director of Messe München International, is confident about this cooperation: "India has potential because of the rising demand for logistics services also from the expanding sectors of the economy, such as pharmaceuticals, mining and the electrical and automotive industries. With our involvement in India we are offering our customers the opportunity to establish themselves early in a growth market."
Both CTL and transport logistic hope that this cooperation will generate synergies that bring added value to both events. For CTL the advantage is a stronger position as the leading B2B event for the transport and logistics sectors in India. For transport logistic it is entry and access to a new market.
